Disgruntled ODM youths on Friday heckled Interior Cabinet Secretary at Metamaywa junction, few miles from Keroka Town.
For months now, the CS has been subjected to criticism with the opposition accusing him of using excessive powers to contain NASA leaders, a claim he however denies.
"I am doing my job perfectly and if someone is not satisfied, I am ready to face charges in court," said Matiang'i at a function in Gachuba ward.
Earlier last week, a group of pro-Jubilee youths had taken to streets of Kisii town to condemn criticism mounted towards Matiang'i.
But at Metamaywa, the group led by John Makworo demanded that the CS respects the rule of law by appreciating courts.
"We read that he is antagonising courts and we had to corner him around to show our displeasure," he said.
The tough speaking Cabinet Secretary was headed to Mecheo to condole with Nyamira senator Okong'o Mogeni who was burying his mother.
