A couple of weeks ago, Maraga accused state officers of disregarding court orders, adding that the move would create a bad precedence in governance.

But a fired up Matiang'i on Sunday accused the judiciary of bias adding that the system was rotten and needs urgent fixing.

"When we do our work, we are viewed as bad people. Nobody is ready to listen to our side of story but as a patriot, I will always follow the law.

"Our courts need urgent fix because things are not straight as he (Maraga) purports. Some judges are out to embarrass the executive only fore some people to defend them," he added.

The firebrand minister was convicted of contempt of court, a decision which he has appealed besides pointing fingers at some judges.

During lawyer Miguna Miguna saga, Matiang'i was accused of defying several court orders, even though he still maintains his innocence.
