Gusii elders have asked the Interior CS Fred Matiang'i to make ways with the Chief Justice David Maraga instead of publicly throwing words at each other.

Speaking at Kisii Sports club on Thursday the elders said that the two should be working together for the benefits of the community.

They said that it was worrying that the two leaders were not working together and were engaging in fights.

"The two leaders should instead seat down, make ways and agree. We are not happy with the exchanges currently being witnessed," he said.

This comes just a day after CJ David Maraga asked Cabinet CS Dr Fred Matiang'i to appeal if he is not happy with any judgement made by the Government.

On his side, Maraga said judges only issue orders on the basis of the arguments raised before the court while Matiang'i claimed the judges were on spree to frustrate the executive.
