Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiangi has put Kiambu rogue community administrators and village elders on notice.
The cabinet secretary says that he will not tolerate rogue chiefs contravening the law.
Speaking to journalists at Gatundu North on Tuesday during a campaign to end illicit brews, Matiangi promised that the crackdown to smoke out all corrupt chiefs have already been launched in the whole country.
"There is no more time to negotiate with corrupt chiefs who are risking the lives of our people in quest for quick money," he said.
He added that he will work with Kiambu county government and other relevant agencies like NACADA to crack the whip on the same.
He also urged local residents to work with the relevant authorities to identify areas that the illicit brews are made.
This comes days after Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu revoked all liquor licenses in the county which seems to be working.
