Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i has issued warnings to universities involved in corruption cases.
Matiang'i was speaking at Cooperative University in Nairobi and even warned that such universities may be closed down if corruption persists.
The Cabinet Secretary also revealed that universities that admit or graduates unqualified students will not be spared in the crackdown.
On the list of the university set for closure Matiangi also pointed at institutions that issue certificates to politicians without qualification in a bid to clear them for the General Elections.
