Four ODM Members of Parliament have called for the immediate resignation of Education CS, Fred Matiang'i.
This following incidents of fires in schools across the country.
Over 100 schools have so far been torched this term and more than 100 students arrested and charged in court with arson.
Kitutu Masaba Member of Parliament, Timothy Bosire, Busia woman representative, Florence Mutua, Ungunja Member of Parliament, Opiyo Wandayi and Matayos lawmaker, Geoffrey Odanga said the CS Education has failed to manage the education sector.
The legislators also accused Matiang'i of unilateral and dictatorial management of the education sector.
"The matters are grave. They cannot be left in the hands of one individual by the name Matiang'i," said Wandayi.
According to the paper, Bosire said he was ashamed of defending Matiang'i though they are tribesman.
