The Cabinet Secretary for Internal Security and Coordination of National Government Dr. Fred Matiang'i has suffered a blow in his efforts o do away with gambling joints.John Mativo, a High Court judge, ruled that the orders against police interference with the activities of the operators are still in force until the case is heard.The operators took a case to the High Court complaining about harassment by law enforcement officers.Dr. Matiang'i ordered County Commissioners to crack down on the joints, saying that they were destroying the future of young people in Kenya.
