Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i faces a court battle should he continue ‘intimidating’ opposition supporters.

Recently, Matiang’i evoked emotions among NASA supporters when he dared them against ‘adopting’ a polling station during elections.

And Siaya senator James Orengo has threatened to battle with Matiang’i in court should he fail to ‘withdraw’ his persistent remarks about opposition’s strategy.

“There is no law that can be used to intimidate us against adopting a polling station. Our agents will remain steady and we will ensure that votes are connected.

“He must apologize to the NASA team for continued intimidation or be ready to face me in court. He understands nothing about the law and we shall keep moving,” he added.

But Matiang’i maintains that he will ensure that only agents are allowed around a polling station during elections.

Separately, Orengo also accused the state of allegedly planning to use military to sabotage voters in opposition territories.
