Education Cabinet Secretary, Fred Matiang’i has been asked by the senate to appear before them on Tuesday morning, next week.
The reason behind this is so that the CS can explain why exactly there is unrest in so many schools across the country.
The Kirinyaga Senator Daniel Karaba told the House Matiang’i will appear before the committee next week, Tuesday at the Parliament building.
All senators have been invited to the meeting by the Kirinyaga senator, Daniel Karaba.
Matiang’i will be expected to give reasons behind the arson cases reported in secondary schools and the steps the government has taken to address the root causes. He will also need to explain what measures he is taking to curb indiscipline in schools.
