Though he did not mention the judge but he appeared to be referring to judge George Odunga who slammed the Interior CS, IG and PS of Immigration with a fine of ksh200, 000 for contempt of court.

"We have also, through the attorney general, filed a complaint against against the judicial officer at the Judicial Service Commission over the manner he handled the matter and condemned us without hearing us based on lies that were fed him. JSC will handle the petition. We got condemned unheard." said Matiang'i.

It is the role of the JSC to set a process that would result to the removal from office of any judicial officer after an investigation to determine whether they have merit and if there is a basis for that.

Speaking to the Security and National Administration Committee, Mr. Matiang'i claimed that some judges had colluded with activists and a section of civil society in order to humiliate and frustrate the government.

"There is an evil clique of judicial officers who are keen to drag us by the collar and take us through trial by the public court. They are determined to ensure that the executive does not perform," said Matiang'i.
