“Police are killing people with no capital offense and this is now worrying. The man in charge has failed to execute his authorities with professionalism,” said Nyamira Majority Leader Duke Masira.
At Nairobi, social media users condemned killing of a young boy who was reportedly hit by a stray bullet at the city’s Eastlands suburbs.
But to bring order in the police force, they say, Matiang’i should take responsibility and resign from the docket due to ‘unilateral failure’.

In response to the latest killings, opposition leader Raila Odinga accused President Uhuru Kenyatta of using force because he is ‘unpopular’ among Kenyans.
