Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i has been warned against continued massive transfer of teachers in his Gusii home turf.
For a fortnight now, over 20 school heads from Gusii region have been deployed elsewhere, a move which teachers believe is witch-hunt.
Kisii Branch KNUT Secretary General Ondimu Onkoba insists that the transfers are negatively targeting teachers adding that they may disorient their plans.
"Some of these teachers are being alienated from their families for no good reason. We want to see sober transfers.
"If he (Matiang'i) has personal vendetta against some teachers, he should look for ways to deal with such issues and not transferring people recklessly," he said.
Among top schools affected in the reshuffle are Cardinal Otunga, Sironga, Nyambaria, Nyabururu and Kereri Girls.
They also insist that before schools open, they shall go to streets to demand for explanation from the CS.
