Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i's motorcade was on Monday stoned by rowdy youth in Kwangware, Nairobi County.
The CS had visited Gatina Primary School to assess its preparedness ahead of KCPE examinations which are scheduled to begin on Tuesday.

Another car belonging to Citizen TV media crew was also stoned by the youth, who had demanded that the CS addresses them.
Matiang'i did not heed to their call, leaving the area immediately after addressing the pupils.

Speaking to KTN, the CS denied being in the motorcade.
"I have been informed that my staff was stoned... but I have no facts about it," said CS Matiang'i.
