Secretary General Sammy Bor says the policies are on point and should be supported by every individual of good will who wants Education sector to reform.

"It's sad that there are some education stakeholders pointing fingers at the new regulations as the cause of perennial fires being witnessed in our schools, I don't agree with that," he said.

Speaking in his office on Thursday, Bor said students have many expectations from parents and teachers thus having much tension.

"In this era students only learn to pass examinations through all means, and since Matiang'i has closed all loopholes of cheating that's why you are witnessing such unrest," he said.

He added that the union fully support the reforms by the CS since they will transform the education sector.

Bor urged teachers to embrace dialogue as a means to solve problem facing students.
