She wonders where Matiang'i found time to appear for summoning when he could not appear before the courts.

"Dr. Matiang'i finds time to appear before parliament but never finds time to appear before the courts. What does that say about him, as a person?" asked Ms. Lumallas.

Speaking at Citizen Tv Breakfast show, the Former head of the Secretariat and Legal Counsel for the speaker urged the Interior cabinet secretary to lead by example in obeying the law.

According to her, Dr. Matiang'i ought to have obeyed the law by virtue of him heading an institution that has a mandate of maintaining law and order.

"What holds us as a country is the rule of law. Dr. Matiang'i heads an institution that has a sole mandate of maintaining law and order. It is his interest to lead by example by appearing before courts and obeying court orders," she added.

However, Dr. Matiag'i while before the Security and National Administration Committee.

Tuesday, said that he respects the law and did not appear before the court because he had not been served with any court order.
