Matungulu Mp Stephen Mule on Monday officially opened new ACK Mukengesya Secondary school in a bid to promote education among children within the area.
Speaking during the launch in presence of His Lordship Bishop Joseph Mutungi of ACK Machakos Diocese among other dignitaries, Mule reiterated that the school will provide better education for all students calling on parents who have not taken their children to school to take the immediate action and promote education.
"I will continue working with the county government in order to make sure that all projects that we had set in the past years are well accomplished," Mule said.
He further urged all children in the area to put more effort in their studies in order to curb ignorance among the children and secure a brighter future for them.
He also called upon all leaders from the area to support children from humble backgrounds so that they acquire knowledge which is a basic requirement for every child in Machakos county.
The newly opened school has got classes for form 1 to form 4 being the third mixed day and boarding school to be opened in Matungulu constituency.
Mule who was addressing the public challenged parents to be on the front line to admit their children to the school saying that the education to be offered from the school is the best.
"Education is the best revenge for poverty within our region. Let everybody play their part and lets work together for a successful implementation of our projects," Mule added.
The residents lauded the Mp for his hard work in bringing change to the residents and vowed to work with him in implementing projects within the area.
