Matungulu MP Stephen Mule has asked the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to resign from his position with immediate effect.
Mule said the chairman and his commission have immensely failed the nation for failing to discharge its duties effectively as required by the Law.
"If you know what's best for you, just resign and let another commission take charge and serve effectively Kenyans," Mule said.
He addressed the press at his office in Tala town on Thursday.
Mule said resignation of the IEBC commissioners is an indication that the commission is rotten and will soon crumble.
He said Kenyans should be made aware of what transpired on August 8, 2017.
"It's not a coincident that these commissioners are resigning, there's a rat in the closet and Kenyans should be told what really happened on August elections," added Mule.
Mule said the National Assembly will ensure the IEBC chairman's ousting if he fails to heed to his advise.
"Whether you resign or not, I'm telling you we Members of Parliament will send you home soon. It only requires a bill in parliament," Mule said.
