Police in Matungulu Sub-County are hunting a gang of thieves who allegedly robbed and killed a businesswoman in Kantafu area in Matungulu on Tuesday night at around 1am.
Confirming the incident, Matungulu OCPD Joseph Chesire said that the woman who works in Nairobi was heading home from work before she was attacked by the gang which was heavily harmed.
The officer said that the gang entered her car whereby they shot her dead and escaped.
"The woman works in Nairobi whereby she is a businesswoman. She was heading home where she was attacked and shot dead," said Cheshire.
Cheshire called upon residents to help with information that could help bring members of the the gang to book.
Matungulu residents are hoping that after police investigation the gang that has been terrorizing them will be caught.
The body of the woman was taken to Kangundo Hospital mortuary.
