Mavoko member of parliament honourable Patrick Makau has pledged to support old men, youth groups and women groups.
While speaking to a group of old men/women, youth organizations and women groups today at the district commissioner ground in Athi River, Makau confirmed he is committed to change the lives of Mavoko youths, women and old people.
The function which started at 10.00am attracted many old men and women from every corner of Mavoko sub-county.
He promised to help old men and women with their national hospital and insurance fund, NHIF payments. He also pledged to support various youth groups.
He promised to deliver T-shirts and other acting props to Athi Frikas theatre group, a theatre group in Athi River who also entertained him with a short skit.
Patrick Makau has urged the people of Mavoko to support his re-election bid. He is gearing up to maintain his seat in 2017.
The other person who is eyeing the Mavoko member of parliament seat is Michael Mutua, the current Athi River MCA.
