Heritage of Faith and Hope Children Centre, based in Sabaki has established a school with kindergarten to class eight.

Addressing the press at the home on Wednesday, the orphanage’s director Teresiah Wairimu said the children sat their first KCPE examinations in the year 2015.

“I am happy to inform the public that Heritage of Faith and Hope Academy is fully fledged and has children from kindergarten to class eight, the first lot of our candidates sat their KCPE examinations last year and excelled with flying colours,” said Kimiti.

Kimiti said the school no longer sends children to other schools out to its premises to study other than secondary schools, colleges and universities.

She said the institution complex hosts the entire school with all classes inside it, dormitories, library, computer laboratory, teachers’ staff room and administrative offices.

Kimiti said that the school though meant for the home’s orphaned and vulnerable children, it also enrolls children from outside whose guardians pay little money as their fee and to cater for the child’s boarding expenses.

She said the school had met all requirements set by the government and was operating legally.

Kimiti said the institution had school buses and a van to help in transporting the children whenever they were moving in and out the school.

She urged parents to take their children to Heritage of Faith and Hope Primary School for enrolment arguing they offer exemplary education with tender touch and care to the needy children.
