Speaking in Maweni Secondary School on Sunday, the legislator asserted his commitment in improving the education sector, saying his administration takes matters education seriously.

"We have allocated Sh36 million to build new classrooms, a laboratory, modern kitchen and purchase a school bus to make this school a model institution in Mombasa," he said.

"I'm committed to improving educational standards in this constituency and even beyond," he added.
