ODM Party Chairman John Mbadi has insisted that as a party, polls results for the presidential candidate must be announced at the constituency level are final.
Speaking on Saturday in Kakamega, Mbadi held on that even though there is a court process pertaining to the matter, the party will stand its ground.
His sentiments were echoed by Mombasa Governor Ali Joho, who insisted that all votes should be counted and results sent to the main centre should be final.
The IEBC has appealed a ruling of the high court that had given the directed on the same.
On April 7, High Court judges Aggrey Muchelule, Weldon Korir and Enoch Chacha Mwita, declared that the presidential results at the constituency level as announced by returning officers are final and should therefore not be subjected to any alterations by the IEBC at the national tallying centre.
However, the electoral agency termed the High Court verdict as an error and wanted it set aside.
Mbadi also too the chance to condemn the Jubilee government for snubbing Raila Odinga during the Madaraka Day fete in Nyeri.
The chair termed the event ethnic chauvinism.
During the event, Odinga was not acknowledged and was seen seating thoughtfully as the President and his deputy ran the show.
Kenyans, especially Nasa supporters took to social media to express their frustration over the same.
