ODM chairman John Mbadi has said that nation has remained divided on the political affiliations while pointing an accusing finger at some politicians including National Assembly Majority leader Aden Duale.

Duale has been very vocal on the Nusu government after the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) declared President Uhuru Kenyatta the winner of the last general elections.

Mbadi said that Duale stand on Nusu Mkate government is baseless since every leader is fighting for his people. The NASA politician said that only two communities have been ruling this nation since Independence.

“That exclusivity demonstrates lack of commonly shared values. In which case, we need to start thinking whether we stay separately. When you hear people like [Garissa MP-elect Aden] Duale talk of nusu mkate, the question is whose mkate? Everybody wants a slice,” he said as quoted by Star.

The leaders of the opposition have been accusing President Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto of sideling some part of the nation since they took over the leadership. NASA Presidential candidate, Raila Amolo Odinga has vowed not to concede defeat.
