The Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (Cord) has questioned why the Jubilee government was reluctant to have the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) probe the death of the controversial businessman, Jacob Juma.
The opposition party has termed this gesture by the government as hypocritical since the Jubilee government has brought in the FBI to investigate the murder of lawyer, Willie Kimani.
These concerns were aired by the ODM chair, John Mbadi who was speaking on Tuesday.
‘‘Tell Kenyans what they know about Juma’s killing. We are now certain the government may have been involved in Juma’s death,’’ stated the chair.
The slain businessman was assassinated by gunmen on the night of May 5 while driving along Ngong Road near Lenana School.
