The ODM national chairman John Mbadi has revealed that the National Super Alliance (NASA) will embark on an intensive door-to-door campaign to woo voters ahead of the August 8 polls.
Mbadi said NASA is working on an elaborate campaign strategy that will see it unseat President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee administration in the forthcoming general election.
Speaking during an interview on Citizen TV on Tuesday, Mbadi said the alliance is not taking any chances in its quest to unseat Uhuru and his deputy William Ruto.
“As NASA, we will soon unveil an elaborate campaign strategy that will send Uhuru's government packing in August,” he stated.
The Suba MP further added that NASA’s campaign will be pegged on issues and not propaganda.
Mbadi indicated that the opposition has the numbers needed to defeat Jubilee Party.
The MP hinted that NASA affiliate parties might conduct joint campaigns in readiness for the polls.
“We (NASA) intend to conduct joint campaigns to consolidate our support base across the country,” he added.
The vocal ODM lawmaker said NASA will champion for development across the country.
He accused the Jubilee government of oppressing and suppressing Kenyans.
Mbadi added that the NASA government will focus on fighting corruption and tribalism which he claimed are rife in Uhuru's government.
