Suba Member of Parliament John Mbadi has indicated that the National Super Alliance (Nasa) will not be headinng to the Supreme Court to challenge President Uhuru Kenyatta's victory.Speaking during an interview on Citizen TV, Tuesday, Mbadi said the court already made its decision by annulling the August 8 presidential election and there there is no need to go back and disturb them again."The Supreme Court made a determination and there are grounds which they touched on. We are where we are again. So why should we (Nasa) again go back to court to disturb the Supreme court? I think the bottom line is there are people who are hell bent in ensuring that there are no presidential elections that is credible in this country," Mbadi said."So no matter how many times you go to court, they will annul the results and we will end where we are now," he added. The ODM chairman however noted that best move was for Kenyans to exercise their democratic rights directly. "So the best thing to do is for Kenyans to now exercise there democratic right directly and have leaders who don't want to leave power, who don't want to have Kenya progress in electoral ways, to give way for a more democratic system," he noted.
Mbadi also ruled out any hopes of supporting any individual or organisation who will go to court to challenge the October 26 presidential election."Anyone who wants to go to court can go to court. They have enough lawyers. The legal minds in this country are so many. So you don't have to always come to Nasa and get a legal mind," he noted.
