Suba South Member of Parliament Hon. John Mbadi has spoken about the 'unlawful' deportation of embattled NRM self-proclaimed general Miguna Miguna to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Speaking at the parliament buildings on Thursday on behalf of other opposition MPs, Mbadi expressed his anger on the way Miguna Miguna has been treated since he came back into the country on Monday and had now been deported back to Dubai again.
He called upon the government to do something on the alleged drugging before the deportation of the renowned lawyer and opposition activist adding that those involved in the matter should be dealt with according to the law.
"We want the government to come out clean on the alleged drugging before deportation of Miguna. Those who conducted such acts should be brought to book," Mbadi said.
He added that the opposition members of parliament are wholesomely disappointed with how Miguna Miguna is being treated by the government. He said all law breakers involved in the Miguna case should be subjected to the courts.
"We are disappointed in the turn of events in Miguna’s case. A person who breaks the law is to be taken to court, which should have happened in the case of Miguna," he added.
Miguna Miguna was deported back to Dubai on Wednesday night after he was drugged into a plain heading to the mentioned destination forcibly.
