Suba South MP John Mbadi (ODM) [Photo: Daily Nation]National Assembly Minority leader John Mbadi has wondered what message President Uhuru Kenyatta was sending to Kenyans by retaining six cabinet secretaries and appointing three."Is there any change really? I have not seen any. Uhuru just said he has retained six Cabinet Secretaries. I don't know what he was doing. What happens to the rest of the CSs? Then he has pushed Keriako Tobiko to resign, clearly signalling he does not want him as DPP. He coerced him to resign so he can replace him," Mbadi says via an opinion piece on the Saturday Star.

He says that if Kenyatta wanted to demonstrate he is exercising the power and authority of the President, by now he should have given a full Cabinet list and 'not this confusing communication from State House which has no head or tail, just telling us he is retaining six ministers'.

Mbadi opines that  Uhuru lacks the mandate to make any appointment because as far as NASA is concerned, 'there's no President Uhuru'.

"We are waiting for Raila Odinga to be sworn-in as President and make appointments. This may seem far-fetched but that is what we know. None of those Uhuru purports to retain is worth retaining. None can justify their stay," he adds.

He says Fred Matiang'i has done nothing but to destabilize the ministry of Education with unnecessary arrogance.

For Henry Rotich he says he is leading Kenya's economy to collapse in a short while and the 'signs are there'.In the case of James Macharia, if his retention is on the basis of the 'so-called SGR', he says this is not what Kenya bargained for as Uhuru had promised 10,000km tarmacked roads 'which are not there'.
