ODM national chairman John Mbadi has welcomed Amani National Congress party leader Musalia Mudavadi to the Cord coalition.
Speaking at Winyo Primary in Rongo constituency, Mbadi asked Mudavadi to join Cord, adding that he is confident the coalition will triumph over Jubilee Coalition in the 2017 General Election.
"Our doors are open to Mudavadi. He should join us because are the winning team," Mbadi was quoted by the Nation.
The Suba legislator accused the Jubilee government of failing Kenyans. "Jubilee has failed Kenyans and it's time they go home," he added.
He added, "Anybody is welcomed to Cord and the coalition is already formidable enough to win the elections."
Speculations of Mudavadi teaming up with Odinga to form an alliance have dominated the media in recent times with some suggesting that Odinga might be tempted to endorse Mudavadi for the country's top seat.
