Kisauni parliamentary aspirant has blamed the slow pace of development and poor service delivery in the constituency on poor leadership.
Ali Mbogo said most of the residents in the area have missed out on important development projects due to poor leadership.He said the area MP has not fulfilled his pre-election pledges to the electorate, adding that he has failed to improve service delivery and many key sectors in the sub-county.“Poor governance in Kisauni is to blame for the slow development rate being witnessed in the area. We must elect leaders who will improve service delivery,” said Mbogo.Addressing a public rally at Kadzonzo ground, Mbogo expressed concern over increased cases of insecurity in the area.He urged the youth not to engage in criminal activities after it was reported that criminal gangs have been recruiting youth to disrupt peace and intimidate residents.Mbogo also urged youth to avoid being used by politicians to cause chaos, especially during this electioneering period.
“I urge youth not to allow selfish politicians to use them. It’s my appeal that we remain united and not allow a few individuals to divide us for their selfish political gains,” said Mbogo.
