Mboko, who is contesting the seat on an ODM Party ticket, had as at 9.00am garnered 25,182 votes (55.63%).
The incumbent, Masoud Mwahima, who ditched ODM for President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee party has 13, 440 votes (29.69%).
Wiper’s Suleiman Shakombo is third with 2, 457 votes (5.43%), and is closely followed by Bernard Waore of ANC who has 2,385 votes (5.27%).
In fifth place is Independent candidate Khamis Domoko with 1,510 votes (3.34%).
Suleiman Rashid (VDP) and Waziri Ganiko (Independent) have 156 votes (0.34%) and 137 votes (0.30%) respectively.
