Mboko who was speaking after paying a courtesy visit to the governor’s office, said it was sad to see leaders from the Coast tearing at each other while other regions had awakened and were now forming formidable forces to help them ascend to power.

“Let’s not be the ones to be left behind when we are so close. Our governor has declared interest in the presidency in 2022 and if we ever want one of our own to rule this country, we must put our full weight behind him,” said Mboko.

The legislature who is eying the Likoni parliamentary seat, also asked the residents to stay put in Cord, saying it was the only party that had their interests at heart.

“Those who think that they have found shelter in Jubilee are only after their selfish interest and as the Coastal people, let us teach them the lesson of their lives,” said Mboko.
