Likoni MP hopeful Mishi Mboko has urged the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to deliver credible elections on Tuesday.

Speaking in Likoni on Saturday during her final campaign rally, the Mombasa Women Representative said Kenyans are counting on the Wafula Chebukati-led commission to execute its mandate effectively.“We are now counting on Wafula Chebukati and his team for credible polls on Tuesday and they have to deliver,” said Mboko, as quoted by the Standard. She said the electoral body has been properly funded and facilitated and thus has no reason not to deliver free and fair elections.Meanwhile, Mboko has urged Kenyans to come out in large numbers to vote on Tuesday. The ODM MP said voters hold the key to the country’s success and can only get the change they are yearning for if they come out in masses to vote. She at the same time appealed to the national government to enhance security during and after the Tuesday polls, arguing that provision of adequate security will give voters confidence of coming out to vote.Mboko is seeking to unseat Jubilee’s Masoud Mwahima on an ODM ticket.
