Speaking Monday when he flagged off Equity Bank's Wings to Fly initiative at the county headquarters, Mbugua stated that his administration was out to see that all children attain good education, their backgrounds not withstanding.

He added that his government was seeking more partners to help bolster bursary allocations noting that the Sh55 million that the county government allotted to the Education ministry to foresee bursaries was insufficient.

He thanked Equity for the initiative, adding that it has helped children from poor backgrounds attain quality education.

The event saw seventy seven students drawn from the county benefit from the bank's sponsorship.

Deputy Governor Joseph Ruto, Education minister Joseph Mathea, MPs David Gikaria (Nakuru Town East) and his Nakuru Town West counterpart Samuel Arama were present.
