Nakuru Governor Kinuthia Mbugua has vowed to ensure each and every ward in the county is not left behind in terms of development.
The governor said that his government has laid out a plan to ensure every ward in the county benefits from development projects.
Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Mbugua said that his government is all inclusive saying that no one will be left out.
He asked leaders in the county to put aside their differences and forge ahead in terms of development.
“I want to tell Nakuru people that my government is all inclusive, we will not favour any one in terms of development,” he said.
Mbugua said that several projects have been launched in at least every ward of the county adding that more are on the way.
He said his government is committed to service delivery and that residents should support his initiatives.
The county boss said that time has come for Kenyans to demand services from their leaders. “Things have changed, Kenyans have a right to demand servics from us,” he added.
The governor called on locals to be on the frontline and preach unity among themselves and neibours.
He said that peace is the ultimate vehicle towards socio-economic development saying that he will not allow people with selfish interests to divide Nakuru residents on tribal basis.
