Mbugua who spoke Tuesday in GilGil sub-county during the first day of the Gavana Mtaani outreach programme, assured residents that his efforts have nothing to do with his re-election in  2017 but an attempt to make life better for residents both at the county and the sub-county levels.

“I once again reassure everyone that this exercise is not a political tool but an initiative by the county government of Nakuru to ensure its services are accessible by all. We are making this possible by ensuring that we serve everyone efficiently from their sub-county headquarters,”  the county boss added.

The Governor also assured of his commitment and that of his administration in ensuring that more initiatives are channelled to help empower the people of Nakuru County.

“It is our duty to serve you and that is why we want to put in place more initiatives that will help in the empowerment our people, We have already rehabilitated 4,000km of feeder roads out of our 10,000km target and this exercise will be completed in due time,” he said.
