Nakuru County governor Kinuthia Mbugua has said his open door policy to Nakuru residents has made his governance much easy.
Speaking to a group of citizens at old Nakuru County Headquarters on Thursday, the governor maintained his accessibility has made it possible to interact with residents and get to know their concerns.
“Today, I saw collectively various groups and individuals who had come to see me at the old chambers at the county headquarters. This interaction is vital for both the county and wananchi as we engage one another,” he said adding, “ I am open and accessible to the people of Nakuru and that my office is also open to all.”
He further added he was committed to hearing people’s concerns anytime as proper governance is about listen ing and acting on grievances raised.
“I'm committed to such interactions as a leader, where i can hear the people's opinions or views and respects them before making a final decision on an issue and it's through this that we move forward as a county and as a people,” he said.
