Nakuru Governor Kinuthia Mbugua has lauded the contribution of private partners in improving the livelihoods of mwananchi further saying his government is ready to work with any organisation.
Speaking at Rubiri Primary School, Hellsgate ward in Naivasha on Tuesday after commissioning a borehole that was constructed by the county government in conjunction with Child Care Worldwide; the governor exuded confidence in fulfilling all his campaign pledges and leave an unforgettable mark as a pioneer governor in Nakuru under the devolved system of governance.
He noted that his administration is committed to partnering with private investors, non-governmental organisations and other State organs in initiating pro development projects.
"I have always said that my commitment is to leave Nakuru better than I found it. Those playing politics with my projects should seize because I will not seat back and watch anybody ride on my back," he said.
"We have very supportive private partners ready to work with leaders at different levels in ensuring that the living standards of our people are improved. Such a project is a living example," he added.
The project is serve close to 3, 000 locals, schools, hospitals, churches and livestock with similar ones being initiated at the Rubiri health centre. Photo; Kinuthia Mbugua, www.facebook.com
