Nakuru county Women representative in the national assembly, Mary Mbugua stressed on the need to have a symbiotic relationship between parents and teachers if success is to be realised.
"Teachers and parents should work hand in hand in order to realise success, teachers alone can't deliver but they need support from parents," Mbugua said.
The legislator was speaking at Moto secondary school, Kuresoi North constituency where she presented Sh 68,000 bursary cheque to needy students.
She promised to issue more bursary as she criss across the 11 Nakuru County constituencies.
During the function, the lawmaker declared that she will defend her seat in 2017 general elections.
"I will seek to be re-elected, many have been asking about it," the MP said.
