Nakuru County Women Representative Mary Mbugua has called on bodaboda riders to be keen while riding motor bikes on the roads.

The legislator urged them to observe road safety rules in order to avoid motorbike accidents that have been on the rise in the area and in the entire country.

"You must be careful while on the roads, ensure you adhere to safety rules because your life is important," she said.

She added: "We every day hear of motorbikes accidents and we should be careful while on the roads in order to reduce them." 

Mbugua was speaking in Molo town on Sunday where she donated two motorbikes to Molo bodaboda Sacco to improve its welfare.
