Nakuru County Governor, Kinuthia Mbugua has said that his county is committed in provision of quality and affordable health care to all Nakuru residents.

Kinuthia said his administration has been addressing health issue to see residents live a healthy life and in line with the county's agenda.

“My administration is devoted in provision of affordable health care to all residents," said Kinuthia.

Speaking on Tuesday in Molo Town, Nakuru county during a fee medical camp that  was organized by the county's Ministry of Health, Kinuthia urged residents to seek early medical attention to avert complications in advanced stages.

“The residents should form a habit of visiting doctors early for medical check-ups so that they can get early treatment,"said Kinuthia.

He also said that the county has launched promotion of healthy lifestyles to assist in prevention of lifestyle diseases.

“Lifestyle diseases are on rise and to counteract this effect the county government has put in place measures to address these diseases," said Kinuthia.

He further said that the county government harmonized regulation of provision of health services to ensure residents have access to better health care .

During Tuesday's medical camp over 400 women and 100 men turned up for a free cancer-screening and other ailments
