Nakuru County Governor Kinuthia Mbugua has vowed to work clisely with the church to ensure peace across the county.
Governor Mbugua says the church has a big role to play in maintaining peaceful existence, and thus his government will ensure cooperation.
Mbugua was speaking in Nakuru on Sunday when attending a church service at PCEA Dr. Arthur Parish.
"I want to assure you that my government will continue to work closely with the church to ensure peace in Nakuru County," said Mbugua.
He also urged youths to shun violence and engage in meaningful activities that can empower them.
On the issue of IEBC, Governor Mbugua called on those planning to demonstrate to ensure they don't interfere with other people's rights.
His sentiments were echoed by Rev George Kahuria Wamani, the parish priest PCEA Dr.Arthur.
