Kathiani sub-county member of National Assembly Robert Mbui has urged headteachers to work together for the purpose of improving the education sector in the sub-county.
Mbui was speaking on February 26, 2016 in Kathiani AIC where he was also accompanied by county director of education Mr Charles Chacha.
He said that the only thing that can be done to enable society growth is doing their teaching work perfectly and modelling students in the right manner.
"I would like to first thank all of you for the great work you have shown as far as education is concerned since I was elected as Kathiani Mp.
You only need to work extra hard to better what has already been achieved. Am working hard to ensure that the few schools without libraries will be equipped with books," said Mbui.
Mbui also encouraged headteachers to talk with teachers in each school to always have words of encouragement to students every morning before they begin to teach.
Mbui also visited Kathiani boys high school where he met with all students leaders within the sub-county.
