KFCB CEO Dr Ezekiel Mutua has asked musicians to refrain from promoting retrogressive behaviour in music compositions even as they exercise their freedom of artistic expression.Speaking when he presided over the fourth edition of the Kaswii Chronicles as Chief Guest, Dr Mutua noted that music does not have to be vulgar in order to sell. 

He encouraged musicians to take advantage of the KFCB Sinema Mashinani project to earn a living from their creative talents.The event, which aims at creating a platform to nurture talent and mentor the youth, was held at Redeemed Gospel Church (Huruma) Sunday afternoon riding under the theme: "Agent of Change".Dr. Mutua launched Gospel Artist Mbuvi's new album, lauding the artist for promoting positive values through music.He reiterated the Board's commitment to support content that promotes positive social values, celebrating cultural diversity and national aspirations.The CEO said music was a powerful tool that should be used to enhance national cohesion and peaceful co-existence.
