Kiambu’s Ngewa Member of County Assembly Karungo Wa Thang’wa has accused some MPs in the county of working hard to discredit the work being done by Governor William Kabogo.
Speaking to the press on Tuesday when he toured his ward, the MCA said that some MPs are working against Kabogo a move he stated is not good for development.
He said time for political witch-hunt is over and that leaders should aim at working together for the sake of socio-economic development.
“It is unfortunate that some leaders in Kiambu are not happy with the work being done by Govenror Kabogo,” he said.
The MCA said that criticising the governor in public forums is painting the image of the county negatively.

At the same time, the MCA urged the county government to work out modalities of ensuring that all bright and needy students have access to funds.
He said that allocation of bursary funds should be done in transparent manner and every eligible student given chance.
The MCA said that the government has a duty to ensure that students from poor backgrounds are helped to furtehr their studies.
