Wang’ombe noted that the school has a total population of 2000 students with only 38 teachers.

“This translates to at least 80 pupils in a class. This is too much for one teacher to handle. We are urging TSC to supply us with more teachers,” said Wang’ombe.

He notes that this will help to boost students performance. Wang’ombe noted that most teachers were shunning the school since it is located in the village.

“This has greatly impacted the education standards in the area and we would like to change this perspective,” said Wang’ombe.

He further raised a red flag over the increased cases of hunger in schools which has forced most students to shun education.

“We had hunger for about three months and this greatly affected our first term school attendance,” notes Wang’ombe. He urged well wishers to donate food to the area learning institutions.

“We also hope that the school feeding program that is currently in various parts of the county will help us deal with the situation,” he added
