Masii/Vyulya ward MCA aspirant Dr Mulumba Mbegei hosted a free medical camp Saturday for Vyulya residents.

By the end of the day, over 200 residents were screened and issued with medication for various ailments. 

The camp came at a time when doctor's from Machakos are still on strike and no indications of resuming work after negotiations held Saturday flopped with the governor accusing KMPDU officials of walking out walking out in the respective press statements after the flopped negotiations. 

The event was sponsored by the deputy governor Bernard Kiala, Mwala Mp aspirant Pastor Muoki and Masii/Vyulya ward MCA aspirant Dr. Mulumba Mbengei. 

A similar camp is scheduled for next weekend in Masii town.
