According to Melly, the quality and constitutionality of the laws that are being passed at the county assembly has raised eyebrows.

"Sometimes when I go through the laws that our MCAs have passed, I usually wonder what kind of education they have. You even laugh alone since by just going through it, you can clearly see than a high school student can have it better than them," Melly said.

Speaking in Eldoret town today, Melly urged the people to be voting for learned people who they know will bring development in their wards.

"It is very hard to see development coming in your wards if you voted for someone who is not learned at all. All that person will be doing is going to the assembly and just sitting since he or she is not in a position to argue or debate with his or her learned colleagues," Melly said.

Melly urged all the MCAs to be passing bills and laws which will bring development to the county and to also ensure that they stop the frequent wrangles being experienced in the county assembly.
