Tabaka ward representative Daniel Apepo has thrown his weight behind Cord co-principal Kalonzo’s proposal to register Cord as a party so that they can challenge Jubilee in the upcoming election.
According to Apepo the current political wave that is taking over in Kenya and more so on the Jubilee side can be only be stopped by the forming of Cord as a party.
Speaking at Nyachenge area on Tuesday evening the MCA said that he is looking forward to other followers and members of parliament to associated with Cord to ensure that they support the move as It will help them get power come 2017.
“The best way Cord can easily beat Jubilee is by ensuring that they have one party to face them and I have to support Kalonzo for that,” he added.
This comes barely a day after Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka suggested that Cord should register as a party so that they can be able to face Jubille, even though the proposal will not translate to a merging of the coalition partners.
