A Member of County Assembly in Nakuru has taken issue with leaders against governor Kinuthia Mbugua's development plan arguing that under him, Nakuru has witnessed positive transformation in terms of infrastructural development, youth and women empowerment and the creation of jobs through attracting investors.
According to Mauche ward MCA Kipng'etich Korir, the Nakuru governor deserved a second term so as to complete on any project he had initiated.
Speaking on Friday after hosting senior county government officials led by the governor during a funds drive at Chebitet primary school in aid of the construction of two new classrooms, Korir exuded confidence in governor Mbugua saying that he was the best suited to transform Nakuru.
"As much as they say politics is a dirty game, at times its realistic to give credit where its due. Our governor has done indisputably well and anybody against his leadership must be sick or something," he said.
The MCA committed to rallying his support for the governor in 2017 insisting that having a leader his calibre within the ranks was not only a motivator to young politicians but also a testimony of how committed leadership can improve the livelihoods of the common mwananchi.
